TL;DR
Head of Customer Marketing (EdTech): Building and leading the client marketing function from the ground up to drive value creation, retention, and account expansion with an accent on account-based marketing (ABM) and strategic account mapping. Focus on designing ROI-led storytelling, developing tailored content for strategic accounts, and driving cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.
Location: Remote (UK), must be based in the UK with occasional travel to the London office

What you will do
- Develop and execute the overarching client marketing strategy to grow value across existing accounts.
- Implement an account-based marketing (ABM) approach, including tailored one-to-one content and communications for strategic clients.
- Drive expansion, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities in partnership with account management and new business teams.
- Create ROI-led content, case studies, and testimonials to evidence client impact.
- Plan and deliver client events and educational content to deepen professional relationships.
- Build and lead a growing client marketing team, reporting on expansion-influenced revenue and retention.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK
- Proven experience in account-based or account-led marketing for strategic accounts.
- Experience in line management, with the ability to build and develop a team.
- Track record of creating impact and ROI-led results storytelling.
- Strong relationship-building skills with senior client stakeholders.
- Commercially minded approach with a history of accountability for growth.
Nice to have
- Experience in B2B education, training, professional services, or SaaS environments.
- Experience marketing to both public sector (including NHS) and private sector clients.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Experience supporting a land-and-expand growth model.
