Location: Hybrid (Chicago or Downers Grove, IL). Must be based in the US and attend the office at least three days per week.

Salary: $136,000 – $175,000

What you will do

  • Define and execute the firmwide expense management strategy and establish T&E policies.
  • Own the end-to-end expense lifecycle, including submission, audit, approval workflows, and financial integration.
  • Lead the configuration and continuous optimization of expense tools like Emburse and SAP Concur.
  • Deliver actionable insights and dashboards on travel and expense spend to support leadership decision-making.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure performance and service delivery align with firm objectives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing expense team across U.S. and offshore operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in travel & expense, finance operations, or a related field.
  • Experience leading teams including U.S. and offshore resources.
  • Proven track record in implementing T&E systems and automation tools (e.g., SAP Concur, Emburse).
  • Strong understanding of corporate card programs, expense compliance, and audit best practices.
  • Must be based in the US and able to work in a hybrid model (at least 3 days per week in office).
