Focus on synthesizing stakeholder needs, auditing AI/ML assets, and delivering strategic recommendations for long-term platform growth.

Location: Must be based within a commutable distance of Milton Park, Oxfordshire, or London, Blackfriars (office attendance required 3 days per week).

What you will do

• Conduct a structured audit of all existing data assets, including source, quality, and accessibility.
• Map all instances of AI, machine learning, and algorithmic decision-making currently in operation across the business.
• Perform a detailed gap analysis between current capabilities and the ambitions for the AI platform.
• Conduct structured interviews with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to identify data needs and frustrations.
• Produce a comprehensive baseline report and actionable strategic recommendations for the permanent Head of Data & Intelligence.
• Build a network of cross-functional relationships to facilitate a smooth handover.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills for assessing data quality and forming conclusions from incomplete information.
• Proven ability to conduct structured stakeholder interviews and synthesize complex information.
• Experience with data and AI/ML capabilities within a product context.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and create structure from scratch.
• Must have the right to work and live in the UK.
