TL;DR

L2 Support Engineer (iGaming): Providing Level 2 application support for REST APIs and backend services within the iGaming sector with an accent on incident triage, log analysis, and system observability. Focus on troubleshooting performance degradation, executing complex SQL queries, and enhancing monitoring via Grafana.

Location: Hybrid (Bucharest, Romania). Hybrid work available after the first three months of employment, with up to 50 days of work from home per year.

What you will do

  • Triage and resolve L2 incidents related to REST APIs, backend services, and system outages.
  • Analyze application logs, Grafana dashboards, and performance metrics to identify root causes.
  • Execute SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, QA, and Release Management on deployments and hotfixes.
  • Build and enhance Grafana dashboards to improve system observability.
  • Maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Application, Production, or Technical Support.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting web applications and REST APIs in production.
  • Strong SQL skills for analysis and data validation.
  • Experience with observability tools, preferably Grafana.
  • Knowledge of incident management and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Must be based in Bucharest, Romania.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with automation initiatives and cloud environments.
