TL;DR
Engineering Manager (SaaS): Leading and coaching a software engineering team within the Communication Area to build scalable customer communication tools for retailers with an accent on team growth, priority alignment, and sustainable delivery. Focus on removing technical obstacles, fostering a psychologically safe culture, and collaborating with product managers and architects.
Location: Hybrid (Stockholm, Norrköping, or Åre, Sweden). Work arrangement: 4 days from the office and 1 day from home.

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and support a team of software engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback, and development conversations.
- Create clarity around priorities, planning, and team ownership to ensure sustainable delivery.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and psychologically safe team culture where engineers can grow.
- Identify and remove dependencies and obstacles while continuously improving ways of working.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers and Architects within one of the company's fastest-growing product areas.
Requirements
- Experience leading software engineering teams as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, Team Lead, or similar.
- Strong software engineering background that enables confident participation in technical discussions.
- Experience enabling senior engineers through coaching rather than hands-on implementation.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Must be based in or able to work from Stockholm, Norrköping, or Åre (4 days/week office).
Nice to have
- Experience working within SaaS, distributed systems, retail tech, martech, or CRM platforms.
