What you will do

• Translate scientific requirements into research instruments and facilities in collaboration with partners and space agencies.
• Develop electrical architectures and related subsystem designs.
• Perform requirements analysis, design, verification, and AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) activities.
• Support manufacturing and test campaigns through hands-on work with spaceflight hardware.
• Contribute to mission support, including live operations from Ground Control Stations and data post-processing.
• Participate in launch site activities and mission-style campaign operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Experience in PCB development.
• Good understanding of Linux-based operating systems and software source code in C and Python.
• Initial project engineering experience, ideally in the space or automotive sectors.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
• Availability to work in Oberpfaffenhofen under a hybrid model.
