Systems Engineer (Navigation)

Location: Bremen, Germany; hybrid work and mobile work abroad are available.

What you will do

• Support system-level activities for satellite navigation projects across development phases A to E.
• Prepare technical proposals and define system concepts, architectures, technical budgets, and functional and performance requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces across spacecraft, payload, launch, and ground segments with engineers, suppliers, and customers.
• Prepare technical documentation, system-level test specifications, and verification plans for design reviews.
• Support AIT through procedure development, testing, reporting, and participation in test campaigns.
• Provide anomaly support for satellites in routine operations and assist project management with technical risk assessments and schedule inputs.

Requirements

• Diploma or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent field.
• Knowledge of systems engineering, requirements engineering, satellite systems, and satellite services.
• Strong communication skills, initiative, proactivity, and a creative, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
