Electrification Compliance – Regulatory Specialist (Electrification)

Location: Peterborough, United Kingdom; full-time onsite work with five days per week in the office.

Salary: £66,079–£99,109 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Develop detailed knowledge of global regulatory requirements for electrified products with regional compliance experts and product development teams.
• Support the development of new technology and prototype battery, fuel cell, charging, and powertrain products.
• Communicate regulatory requirements to engineering teams, lead risk assessments, and manage risk mitigation plans.
• Provide leadership to drive project execution and support on-time delivery.
• Engage with senior leaders, customers, and stakeholders across the business.
• Resolve technical issues and identify engineering best practices aligned with industry standards.

Requirements

• Engineering qualification relevant to electrical or electrified products, or progressive experience in regulatory compliance.
• Experience with product safety standards and legal requirements.
• Experience interpreting and implementing standards such as IEC 60204-1, ISO 12100, ISO 13849, and ISO 61508.
• Working knowledge of regulatory risk assessment, risk mitigation, and risk management documentation.
• Ability to collaborate across functional areas and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; the role requires onsite work in Peterborough five days per week.
