TL;DR
Software Engineer (.NET/Vue): Delivering high-quality commercial software and mentoring developers with an accent on architectural evolution and technical leadership. Focus on re-architecting the platform to a microservices-based approach and building robust data pipelines on GCP and Azure.

What you will do
- Develop and deliver high-quality commercial software while providing 3rd line technical support.
- Mentor junior developers and take full ownership of software quality and delivery.
- Influence technical design decisions and actively contribute to architectural discussions.
- Create and own feature brief documents for product enhancements.
- Drive the transition of the platform toward a microservices-based, containerized architecture.
- Build robust data pipelines and consumption layers using GCP and Azure to support advanced analytics and ML.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work on-site in Edinburgh, UK
- 2-3+ years of relevant professional software development experience.
- Strong technical background in C#, Entity Framework, and ASP.NET MVC.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with both relational and non-relational data technologies, including database performance tuning at scale.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
Nice to have
- Experience with .NET 8, Vue 3, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with GCP, Azure, Python, HTMX, or Blazor.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks.
