Senior .NET Developer (Healthcare)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; hybrid schedule with 3 days from home and 2 days in the office

Salary: £60,000–£70,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Healthcare technology organisation investing in its in-house technology team to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain secure applications using C# and modern .NET.
• Design REST APIs and integrations with NHS FHIR, e-RS, and third-party APIs.
• Build scalable cloud applications on Azure and modern React applications with TypeScript.
• Collaborate with clinical leads, stakeholders, and developers to deliver software solutions.
• Apply GDPR, NHS Information Governance, healthcare compliance, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical decisions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial full-stack development experience.
• Strong C# and modern .NET 6 experience.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-based .NET services.
• Strong React, TypeScript, REST API, OOP, Git, SQL, and PostgreSQL skills, including Dapper or equivalent.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.
