Business Consultant Contracted Retail UK (Automotive)

Location: United Kingdom; remote field sales role

What you will do

• Partner with franchisees to develop, implement, and review business plans, KPIs, and growth strategies.
• Analyse commercial and operational performance, including sales, profitability, pricing, service mix, and processes.
• Conduct audits, monitor compliance, and support improvement plans for retail standards, brand identity, and customer experience.
• Coach franchise partners through training, workshops, best-practice sharing, and adoption of new programmes, systems, and technology.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Training, and other internal teams to deliver strategic retail initiatives.
• Identify market, competitor, and partner-driven opportunities for network improvement, expansion, onboarding, retention, and succession planning.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in retail, sales, business development, or a similar role.
• Strong commercial, financial, analytical, and business acumen with the ability to turn insights into practical actions.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, coaching, influencing, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Proactive, organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Commercial or business qualification, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in the automotive or tire industry.
• Knowledge of digital marketing and demand creation.
