TL;DR

Focus on leading a high-performing compliance team, managing interfaces with ACPR, and advising product teams on regulatory feasibility.

Location: Paris, France (Hybrid - a few days at home)

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of approximately 15 compliance professionals.
  • Maintain and evolve the regulatory compliance framework (PSD2/CMF, EMI obligations, ACPR expectations) across home and passported markets.
  • Act as the primary interface with ACPR and local competent authorities on compliance matters.
  • Advise product, partnerships, and commercial teams on the regulatory feasibility of new features and markets.
  • Track regulatory changes and translate them into actionable requirements and timelines for the business.
  • Manage international regulatory examinations, inspections, and audits.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience as an AMLRO or in a compliance role within a regulated financial institution (ideally EMI or PI).
  • Strong command of the French regulatory framework (ACPR, AML/CFT directives, PSD2, MFC).
  • Proven track record of building and leading compliance teams.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and conviction in both French and English.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product and Sales teams to move business forward within regulatory bounds.
