What you will do

• Support corporate development through fundraising rounds, including due diligence, structuring, and execution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, such as referral, partnership, and NDA agreements.
• Advise on legal matters regarding marketing, advertising, promotions, and data protection.
• Monitor fintech regulatory developments to ensure company practices remain compliant.
• Manage external counsel to ensure cost-effective and high-quality legal support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, compliance, and risk teams on regulatory matters and new product initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial services or corporate law, ideally in tech or a top-tier law firm.
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a reputable university.
• Admission to a French bar (Barreau), preferably Paris.
• Deep understanding of the legal and business environment in EMEA, with work experience in France preferred.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and manage external counsel.

• Experience supporting fundraising, M&A, or international expansion in a regulated fintech environment.
• Knowledge of data protection, cybersecurity, and technology risk management.
• Proficiency in additional European languages.
