What you will do

  • Handle high-value and complex claims in line with demanding service standards.
  • Ensure technical accuracy of reports and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) targets.
  • Manage property claims, diagnose building defects, and determine appropriate remedial actions.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, brokers, and policyholders.
  • Direct investigations and apply advanced negotiation skills to achieve optimal settlements.
  • Interpret and apply policy cover, terms, and conditions to complex domestic and commercial cases.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience within an adjusting company or insurer, specifically with major losses.
  • Proven track record in property claims and at least 2 years in property claims management.
  • Deep knowledge of Domestic, Commercial, and SME claims, including Contents claims.
  • Ability to identify building defects and understand restoration procedures following Fire and Flood.
  • Strong understanding of legal principles regarding subrogation and recoveries.
  • Must be based in the United Kingdom.
