What you will do

• Develop and deliver the UK catalogue acquisition and administration strategy in partnership with global leadership.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities across UK and international markets.
• Lead commercial evaluations of assets, assessing financial performance, copyright positions, and market trends.
• Negotiate complex agreements with songwriters, estates, publishers, and investors.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Creative teams to structure and execute acquisition deals.
• Monitor portfolio performance to identify new revenue streams and maximize long-term value.

Requirements

• Proven experience in catalogue acquisitions, business development, or commercial strategy within the music industry.
• Deep, authentic relationships across the music ecosystem (managers, lawyers, songwriters, artists).
• Extensive knowledge of music copyright, licensing, royalty structures, and rights administration.
• Strong financial acumen for evaluating catalogue performance and preparing business cases.
• Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to build credibility at senior levels.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives within a global matrix organization.
