What you will do
- Establish the user research practice from scratch, defining frameworks, standards, and workflows.
- Select, implement, and manage the research tooling stack for recruitment and insight management.
- Plan and execute high-quality generative, evaluative, quantitative, and strategic research studies.
- Translate research findings into actionable insights to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions.
- Collaborate with UX design, product management, and engineering to embed research into the development lifecycle.
- Build a global participant panel and mentor junior researchers as the function scales.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of user research experience, ideally within a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- Proven track record of setting up or significantly scaling a user research practice independently.
- Strong command of qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and JTBD.
- Experience implementing research tools such as Dovetail, UserZoom, Maze, or UserTesting.
- Ability to communicate insights with clarity and impact to diverse audiences and senior leadership.
- Must be based in the EMEA region.
