What you will do

  • Analyze existing deal processes to identify risks and inefficiencies within the sales organization.
  • Design and implement a Deal Desk playbook and a scalable deal approval framework for non-standard deals.
  • Govern commercial documentation, handle clause reviews, and select/implement suitable contract management tools.
  • Provide guidance on pricing structures and discounting rationale to ensure margin discipline.
  • Align Sales, Accounting, and Finance on quoting, billing outcomes, and revenue assurance.
  • Lead and develop a team member while improving workflows through automation and standardized templates.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of professional experience in Deal Desk, Contract Management, Pricing Governance, or Revenue Operations.
  • Proven track record of structurally building new processes from scratch.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Legal, and Finance.
  • Fluent in both English and German.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Leipzig, Germany.

Nice to have

  • Experience evaluating or implementing contract management or CPQ tools.
  • Experience in B2B marketplaces, platform businesses, or SaaS environments.
