TL;DR

Trademark Specialist (Legal): Supporting the Intellectual Property team in managing a worldwide trademark portfolio with an accent on prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement workflows. Focus on docketing, document execution, and coordinating complex trademark lifecycle tasks within a high-volume corporate environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Universal City, CA (Hybrid: 4 days/week in-office)

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000

What you will do

  • Provide end-to-end support for the trademark lifecycle, including prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement.
  • Research and prepare trademark specimens for filings, renewals, and office action responses.
  • Manage document execution workflows, including signature tracking, notarization, and legalization.
  • Prepare docket reports, monitor deadlines, and track matter status.
  • Maintain internal trademark reference materials and chain-of-title history.
  • Generate reports using internal and external databases to support portfolio tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant legal experience in a professional role.
  • Must be able to work from the Universal City, CA office at least 4 days per week.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Experience with trademark docketing systems (e.g., Anaqua) and platforms (e.g., SAEGIS).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive material with discretion.
