TL;DR

Mid-Market Account Executive (CPG): Managing the full sales cycle for AI-powered industrial efficiency solutions with an accent on consultative selling to CPG manufacturing leaders. Focus on building deep customer trust, navigating complex negotiations, and driving large-scale adoption of IoT and SaaS technologies within foundational industrial sectors.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Somerville, MA (Hybrid)

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 (OTE)

hirify.global is a cleantech startup building AI-powered co-pilots and sensor technology to optimize facility performance and sustainability for global manufacturing industries.

What you will do

  • Manage the entire sales process from cold outreach to close, including pipeline forecasting for Mid-Market CPG brands.
  • Develop champions and cultivate trusted relationships with VP and C-level stakeholders.
  • Create account-specific presentations that articulate the value proposition and ROI of hirify.global’s technology.
  • Identify and implement new high-value use cases to ensure technology stickiness within customer footprints.
  • Collaborate with the deployment team to facilitate pilots, expansions, and large-scale global roll-outs.
  • Take ownership of negotiations and project execution to ensure smooth delivery and deal closure.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of successful sales experience in a fast-paced environment, specifically with SaaS, IoT, or manufacturing sales in the Mid-Market CPG industry.
  • Proven track record of quota attainment in inside sales, including cold outreach and building champions.
  • Experience in consultative selling of technology into manufacturing environments, justifying large capex/opex projects.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to speak fluently about AI/ML, SaaS, PaaS, and IoT trends.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with an active professional presence on LinkedIn.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Somerville, MA.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience selling to or working within the food and beverage industry.
  • Undergraduate degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or Science.
  • MBA degree.
