What you will do

• Lead the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations for fixed assets, inventory, and revenue.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure proper transaction classification across customer programs and R&D projects.
• Participate in ERP implementations and UAT for accounting and manufacturing systems.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax preparers for annual audits and compliance filings.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft D365) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or defense industries.
• Active CPA license.
• Background in public accounting.
• Experience utilizing AI tools for accounting workflows.
