What you will do

• Process patient samples and perform high-complexity testing in a CLIA-certified environment.
• Analyze test results, prepare reports, and maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Perform quality control activities, including instrument calibration and maintenance.
• Identify and correct test system deviations following established protocols.
• Train new employees on laboratory policies, methods, and techniques.
• Collaborate with the laboratory leadership team to investigate proficiency testing and quality issues.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.
• BS/BA degree in a biology-related science.
• 1-6 years of experience performing high-complexity testing in a clinical laboratory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Must be able to work on-site in Brisbane, CA.

Nice to have

• Demonstrated proficiency in molecular testing techniques such as PCR and real-time PCR.
• Experience in immunology, microbiology, or related fields.
• Understanding of complex disease treatment algorithms.
