Salary: $56.25–$66.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform and report clinical lab testing on patient samples for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
• Follow established laboratory procedures for specimen handling and next-generation sequencing.
• Maintain accurate records of patient test results and ensure compliance with quality control policies.
• Supervise lab activities in the absence of an onsite manager.
• Train other personnel in laboratory methods and monitor non-licensed staff.
• Identify and resolve technical problems affecting test performance or reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences or related disciplines.
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license OR CGMBS license required.
• 0–4 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA.
• Availability for the Friday–Tuesday shift (6am–2:30pm).

Nice to have

• Experience with manual DNA/RNA extractions.
• Experience with manual library prep.
• Experience working with a microtome.
