Location: Must be based in Canada

Salary: $220,000 - $245,000 CAD

What you will do

• Design, build, and deliver robust backend services and APIs using Go.
• Contribute full-stack features using React and TypeScript.
• Lead complex technical projects and mentor team members through code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and design partners to shape the technical roadmap.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly to drive business outcomes.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada as we cannot support visa transfers.
• Deep experience designing and maintaining backend systems in Go.
• Professional experience with React and TypeScript.
• Proven track record of leading complex technical projects end-to-end.
• Strong ownership, autonomy, and experience supporting software in production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools like Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
• Experience with observability tools and production culture.
