Software Engineer (AI Security): Building and optimizing AI-native application security products for the Codex platform with an accent on full-stack development, scalable backend services, and developer-facing interfaces. Location: Must be based in the US (San Francisco, Seattle, or Remote US).

Compensation: $230,000 – $325,000 + Equity.

What you will do

• Build end-to-end product features for Codex Security, from interfaces to backend services and APIs.
• Own ambiguous 0-to-1 projects across product pods, platform security controls, and cyber model infrastructure.
• Translate security research and model capabilities into intuitive workflows for vulnerability remediation.
• Design scalable, observable systems for long-running analyses across large codebases.
• Partner with product, security research, and infrastructure teams to iterate based on real-world feedback.
• Shape the technical direction and architecture of the Codex Cyber product surface area.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to work across the full stack.
• Experience building developer tools, workflow-heavy platforms, or internal infrastructure.
• High-agency mindset with the ability to own features from concept to production.
• Strong product instincts and ability to make complex technical systems understandable.
• Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into scalable, reliable systems.

Nice to have

• Direct experience in product security, application security, or vulnerability research.
• Experience with defensive security, identity, SSO, or secure developer workflows.
• Passion for AI and security-focused product development.
