About the Role

You will develop a deep understanding of your customers' business priorities, aligning their regulatory and compliance needs with 3E's innovative solutions. You will drive customer retention and broaden the customer base within your designated territory, oversee account health, drive product adoption, and identify cross-sell opportunities, referring them to the business development teams. You will leverage your analytical skills to identify market trends and customer needs, and identify growth opportunities for new product lines within existing customer organizations. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence three days per week at the Tokyo office.

Requirements

  • Native-level Japanese proficiency and fluent English skills (additional Asian languages a plus)
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, customer success, account management, or similar client-facing roles within technology, IT, subscription-based regulatory solutions, or SaaS companies
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or a related field
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify market trends and customer needs
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar applications
  • Proven results-driven mindset, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales and renewal targets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to travel up to 5 days per month, primarily within Japan, with occasional trips across APAC
  • Must be able to work from the Tokyo office three days per week
  • Proficiency in another APAC language (Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai) is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business in Japan and APAC, ensuring client retention, renewal, and expansion
  • Spot product safety and stewardship service opportunities within customers' businesses
  • Identify and develop relationships with senior leadership to expand services within existing accounts
  • Mobilize product champions within the client's user base and rally internal teams for swift issue resolution
  • Monitor account health, develop user/usage growth plans, and accurately forecast sales pipeline
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in documenting customer interactions, managing client requests, demos, proposals, and business reviews
  • Plan and manage renewal activity to meet/exceed account growth targets, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payments
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews, collaborate with regulatory experts, and align solutions with industry needs
  • Gather and share customer feedback to shape product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and go-to-market efforts
  • Support Senior Account Managers and work closely with the broader Commercial team in Japan
