Salary: $195,000 - $235,000 USD

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs to support high-scale ecommerce functionality.
• Lead the development of complex customer-facing features including browsing, discovery, product pages, and checkout flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement robust technical solutions.
• Debug and resolve complex performance and stability issues across the full stack.
• Mentor and guide engineers to raise the technical bar across the organization.
• Drive best practices in system design, testing strategies, and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–8 years of professional experience building full-stack applications in production environments.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in modern web development using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and scalable architecture.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
