TL;DR
Solution Architect (Fintech): Bridging the gap between technology and business strategy by designing complex billing and monetization solutions for high-growth companies with an accent on technical advisory and sales enablement. Focus on driving technical evaluations, shaping product roadmaps through customer feedback, and translating complex technical concepts into value-driven business outcomes.
Location: Hybrid (New York). For SF Bay Area and NYC residents, 3 days/week in-office required. Remote roles require 1x per quarter in-person attendance.
Compensation: $200,000 – $275,000 OTE + Equity + Commission

What you will do
- Partner with sales teams to drive product evaluations and demonstrate technical value to prospects.
- Guide customers through implementation workflows and help reduce time-to-value.
- Serve as a technical advisor, crafting solutions that integrate with existing business systems.
- Provide actionable feedback to product teams to fill gaps and improve developer experience.
- Act as a thought leader by creating whitepapers, webinars, and reference architectures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement technical solutions for complex business challenges.
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience partnering with sales, product management, and customer success teams.
- Strong empathy and a proven track record of building customer relationships.
- Must be comfortable with a hybrid work model in NYC or SF Bay Area, or able to travel quarterly for remote roles.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in an early-stage startup.
- Experience in the billing space or with data infrastructure tools like ETL.
- Familiarity with integration APIs and tax/accounting automation.
- Sales Methodology training (e.g., MEDDPICC, SPIN, Challenger Sales).
