Strategic Sourcing Manager (Automotive)

What you will do

• Execute indirect category strategies for packaging, chemicals, software, IT services, and CAPEX.
• Lead the full sourcing cycle, including market analysis, tendering (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs), and negotiations.
• Manage supplier relationships through KPI monitoring, business reviews, and risk mitigation.
• Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, and contracts in collaboration with Legal and Finance.
• Drive standardization and process efficiencies to achieve cost savings and working-capital improvements.
• Ensure continuity of critical supplies and establish mitigation plans for non-performance.

Requirements

• Must be based in Cd Juárez, Mexico.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 5-10 years of strategic sourcing or category management experience, preferably in automotive or multinational manufacturing.
• Fluent English proficiency required.
• Proven experience sourcing complex indirect categories such as Software, CAPEX, or MRO.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
