Product Manager Lead (GovTech)

TL;DR

Product Manager Lead (GovTech): Defining product vision and managing the delivery of digital services for US federal agencies with an accent on Human-Centered Design (HCD) and Agile methodologies. Focus on managing complex technology projects, developing product roadmaps, and bridging communication between technical teams and government stakeholders.

Location: Remote (USA). Must be able to operate within the Eastern time zone. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or pass public trust clearance through the U.S. Federal Government.

What you will do

• Define product vision and long-term strategy aligned with user needs and business objectives.
• Interface with Federal customers and HCD researchers to validate user requirements and pain points.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, including PI planning, refinement, retrospectives, and standups.
• Develop value-driven features and user stories with clear benefit hypotheses and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with System Architects and Engineers to manage upstream and downstream dependencies.
• Drive continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and performance metrics to identify opportunities.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or ability to pass U.S. Federal Government public trust clearance (requires residency in the US for 3 of the last 5 years).
• 10+ years of product management experience, specifically delivering technology products in an Agile environment.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex technology roadmaps.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent professional experience (6+ years).
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
• Availability to work 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

Nice to have

• Experience building and managing data platforms, APIs, and data pipelines.
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification or experience in a SAFe environment.
• Experience with Medicaid data and delivering solutions for CMS.
