TL;DR

Buyer (Procurement): Supporting procurement operations by managing supplier relationships, contract renewals, sourcing activities, and commercial negotiations with an accent on contract review risk identification and contract lifecycle management. Focus on end-to-end contracting workflows, spend analysis reporting, and collaborating across Legal, Finance, Compliance, and business stakeholders while maintaining procurement policy compliance.

Salary: $63,800 - $83,000 USD (base salary range)

What you will do

  • Build and maintain supplier relationships and act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, renewals, and procurement requests.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Legal) to support procurement initiatives and business needs.
  • Manage contract renewals and assist with sourcing, supplier selection, and procurement activities.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and other commercial terms for vendor contracts.
  • Perform contract review activities: review commercial terms, identify risks, and support basic contract redlining aligned with Procurement and Legal standards.
  • Maintain supplier/contract/procurement records in the contract lifecycle management system and support spend analysis and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in the USA
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, vendor management, contract administration, or related business function.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Nice to have

  • Exposure to supplier negotiations, contract administration, sourcing, or procurement operations.
  • Experience with procurement, ERP, or contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
  • Familiarity with Gatekeeper or similar CLM/procurement platforms.
  • Interest in leveraging AI-powered tools for contract review, clause analysis, supplier research, spend analysis, and workflow efficiency.
  • Desire to develop expertise in contract management, commercial negotiations, and strategic sourcing.
