AV Installation Technician (Audiovisual)

What you will do

• Install AV components including displays, projectors, loudspeakers, and microphones.
• Execute and test various cabling terminations, including fiber optic cable handling.
• Prepare and stage equipment racks, installing power strips, grounding bars, and jack-fields.
• Interpret functional design drawings, cable riser diagrams, and architectural plans.
• Mount base build equipment such as monitor mounts, ceiling speakers, and projectors.
• Maintain toolkits, company vehicles, and installation material inventories.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as an associate technician or in a related industry.
• Familiarity with audio, video, and networking equipment.
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts and basic carpentry skills.
• Proficiency and safety with power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and adherence to insurance requirements.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice to have

• AVIXA CTS Certification.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certificate.
