What you will do
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV and cinema system issues, including network connectivity and infrastructure.
- Perform on-site emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations at customer locations.
- Provide timely technical support via telephone and in-person to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate equipment repairs, testing, and inventory management.
- Support live events and screenings to ensure seamless operation of AV equipment.
- Document all technical functions, installations, and service activities accurately.
Requirements
- Must be local to Raleigh, NC
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in technical support, field service, or PC repair.
- 3-5 years of experience in the repair, maintenance, or theory of digital projection and audio systems.
- Ability to perform frequent domestic and international travel on short notice.
- Strong understanding of AV signal flow, analog and digital circuits, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain government security clearances if required.
Nice to have
- Experience with audio/video test and calibration equipment.
- Formal electrical or electronic training.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
