What you will do

• Commission AV systems at client sites, optimizing equipment settings to ensure operation according to scope and drawings.
• Perform programming and configuration loading, debugging control systems in collaboration with remote programmers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues by tracing signal flow and coordinating with project stakeholders.
• Create and modify DSP files, focusing on AEC optimization for videoconferencing and coordinating control objects.
• Configure AV networks and coordinate with client network teams for seamless integration.
• Document system changes via redlines and provide feedback to design and pre-sales teams to improve future implementations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Audio-Visual installation and commissioning.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel frequently (up to 30% remote travel).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting basic and complex AV and network systems.
• Experience with MTR (Microsoft Teams Rooms) and Zoom Rooms.
• Required DSP certification from Biamp, QSC, or BSS.
• Physical ability to lift at least 40lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and spend most of the day on feet.

Nice to have

• AVIXA CTS or CTS-I certification.
• Extron AV Associate or Certified Control Professional.
• Audinate Dante Level 1 or 2 certification.
• Control certifications from QSC, Extron, or Crestron.
• Knowledge of broadcast or hybrid conference-live event systems.
