What you will do

• Develop comprehensive AV system designs, including bills of materials, conceptual block diagrams, and scopes of work.
• Partner with sales teams and account managers to understand customer requirements and support proposal efforts for large-scale projects.
• Define infrastructure requirements for power, data, and conduit integration while coordinating with contractors.
• Act as a design authority during project implementation by providing technical support and resolving complex challenges.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers by reviewing designs and sharing industry best practices.
• Collaborate with vendors, architects, and consultants to ensure design excellence and alignment with business goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 7+ years of experience in audiovisual system design, integration, or related technical environments.
• AVIXA CTS-D certification (required).
• Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD or Bluebeam Revu.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking and AVoIP solutions.
• Experience with enterprise conferencing technologies such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or Cisco Webex.

Nice to have

• AVIXA ANP certification or Cisco CCNA.
• Relevant audio/DSP certifications (e.g., Biamp, Q-SYS, BSS, Extron, or Shure).
• Formal education in electronics, engineering, or a related field.
