What you will do

• Assemble electro-mechanical and cable subassemblies, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
• Perform high-precision manual SMT soldering on PCBs, including fine-pitch components and rework under magnification.
• Integrate electrical components and perform fine hand assembly of microcircuits using cable crimping tools.
• Install, mount, and adjust connectors, wiring, and harnesses to subassemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot designs and improve assembly techniques and documentation.
• Maintain production logs, work orders, and track inventory of electronic components.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Burnaby, Canada
• Post-secondary technical diploma or equivalent education and experience.
• 4+ years of experience assembling complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Strong hands-on experience with manual SMT soldering on PCBs (critical requirement).
• Proficiency with engineering drawings, microscopes, Multi-Meters, Heat Guns, and Weller Soldering Controllers.
• Ability to handle delicate electronic components and lift objects up to 30lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience in pressure pipe fittings, assembling valves, and HVAC.
