What you will do

• Lead and scale the Analytics Platform team, hiring and mentoring Analytics Engineers.
• Own the end-to-end analytics data model to ensure a single source of truth for business decisions.
• Act as the primary link between Analytics and Data Platform Engineering to align on architecture and data contracts.
• Evolve the semantic layer to maintain consistency of key metrics across tools.
• Establish coding standards, documentation, and CI/CD processes for data quality.
• Partner with senior leadership to define and communicate the organizational data strategy.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in people management.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Proficiency with Git, Python, and BI tools like Sigma.
• Experience in dimensional modeling and data warehouse design patterns.
• Must be based in Boston, MA (On-site).

Nice to have

• Experience with semantic layers (Snowflake Semantic Views, dbt Semantic Layer).
• Knowledge of AI/ML data readiness and LLM-powered tooling.
• Background in subscription/DTC, health, or consumer hardware.
• Experience with data governance and metrics layer standardization.
