Salary: $143,400 – $212,230 per annum

What you will do

  • Develop comprehensive validation plans for SoCs, ASICs, and custom IP blocks.
  • Execute post-silicon validation, including functional testing and performance characterization.
  • Lead first silicon bring-up in the lab, managing power-on and subsystem initialization.
  • Identify and root cause hardware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
  • Collaborate with architecture, design, and software teams to define coverage and drive fixes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (5+ years exp) or Master’s/PhD (3+ years exp).
  • Experience validating CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, SoCs, or custom ASICs.
  • Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe and Ethernet.
  • Proficiency in Python, Perl, or Shell for automation and C/C++ for low-level test development.
  • Experience with pre-silicon environments (simulation, emulation, FPGA prototyping).
  • Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).
