Location: Hybrid (2 days weekly in office) in Atlanta, Boston, NYC Manhattan, or West Hartford, CT

Salary: $70,000–$90,000

What you will do

• Perform and review periodic control attestations across Finance and operational processes impacting reporting.
• Validate the completeness and quality of evidence for claims reserves, underwriting data, and IT system interfaces.
• Coordinate the annual refresh of the internal controls framework and the execution of the Model Audit Rule program.
• Own the maintenance and integrity of control records within the Shield repository.
• Maintain alignment between control narratives, SOPs, process maps, and the current operating model.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial controls, audit, risk, or finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of SOX, MAR, or similar internal control frameworks.
• Experience engaging with multi-functional stakeholders across Finance, Claims, UW, and IT.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency and strong technical documentation capabilities.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Atlanta, Boston, NYC, or West Hartford.
