Investment Banking Associate II (M&A and Capital Markets)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $195,000–$200,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.

hirify.global is a commercial banking organization with an investment banking platform serving middle-market corporate and sponsor-backed transactions.

What you will do

• Support senior professionals in client advisory, business development, and transaction origination across transportation and logistics, industrial distribution, and waste sectors.
• Evaluate and execute M&A, leveraged finance, equity capital markets, securities issuance, restructuring, refinancing, and equity raise transactions.
• Build detailed financial models, analyze company and industry research, and develop transaction structure and pricing guidance using comparable transaction analysis.
• Prepare pitch materials, confidential information memoranda, board and management presentations, ratings agency presentations, lender materials, and roadshow presentations.
• Coordinate transaction screening, credit and underwriting approvals, accounting, business and legal due diligence, and required documentation.
• Work with senior bankers, product groups, corporate banking teams, legal counsel, clients, and financial sponsors while supervising and developing analyst-level bankers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of direct experience in investment banking, M&A, corporate finance, leveraged finance, or capital markets, including proven client interaction.
• Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record from a leading university; all concentrations are considered.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with financial services software such as S&P CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, FactSet, Thomson One, or comparable platforms.
• FINRA Series 79 or Series 7 and Series 63, or willingness to obtain the required licenses within a short timeframe.
• An MBA and formal investment or corporate banking training are preferred but not required.
