Salary: $48.65 per hour plus a 10% bonus target

What you will do

• Perform cleaning, inspection, testing, and calibration of electrical, electronic, and pneumatic control systems.
• Install and program electronic instruments and troubleshoot electrical power supply circuits.
• Create and update technical diagrams and plans for plant electrical and electronic controls.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on generators and high voltage switchgear.
• Provide technical support for the start-up of new installations, including combustion turbines and heat recovery boilers.
• Operate and monitor boilers, chillers, and ancillary equipment to manage pressure and flow.

Requirements

• Technical or trade school degree in electronics, computer science, or equivalent industry training.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience as a technician in central plant or power generation.
• Ability to write logic using Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagrams.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving issues in existing PLC programs to minimize downtime.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurance standards.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb up to 100 feet.

Nice to have

• Thorough understanding of electrical safety and Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures.
• Familiarity with the principles of refrigeration and thermodynamics.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, control diagrams, and manufacturer's technical manuals.
• Experience using multimeters, dead weight testers, and combustion analyzers.
