Economist I (Finance): Assisting in data collection and maintenance of data-driven models to quantify the impact of economic and industry factors on portfolio performance with an accent on the used vehicle market. Focus on performing econometrics, developing predictive analytics, and providing actionable insights for executive decision-making.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in Fort Worth, TX)

What you will do

• Analyze key metrics and perform data analysis to monitor the used vehicle market.
• Develop and maintain databases to support residual value projections and monthly reporting.
• Conduct ad-hoc research projects, including project design, data collection, and analysis.
• Partner with Data Science and Remarketing teams to implement econometric modeling.
• Deliver polished presentations on economic findings and risk analysis to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• Experience working with large datasets and data analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to design and implement model documentation and monitoring protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with senior management.

• SAS programming experience.
