What you will do

• Define internal AI-enablement priorities and roadmaps in collaboration with engineering leadership and the co-founder.
• Build and iterate on internal tools, workflows, and practices for coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, and Pi.
• Evaluate new AI models and agents to make data-driven recommendations for company-wide adoption.
• Develop infrastructure, guardrails, and review practices to ensure the safe and secure use of AI-generated code.
• Act as an internal advocate and coach, providing documentation and hands-on guidance to improve AI literacy.
• Track and measure the real impact of AI tooling on engineering velocity and software quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Daily, hands-on power-user fluency with modern AI coding tools.
• Experience building and shipping internal tools or developer-facing automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal advocacy and teaching.
• Ability to operate comfortably with ambiguity and self-direct priorities on a small team.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in developer experience (DevEx), platform engineering, or internal tooling.
• Experience evaluating or benchmarking LLMs and coding agents.
• Proficiency in Go or Rust, in addition to Python.
• Background in security or code-review practices.
• Experience in developer relations or technical evangelism.
