Location: Must be based in the US (Hybrid options available in Denver, CO; Ashburn/Sterling, VA; or Santa Clara, CA; or remote within the US).

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 + Bonus

What you will do

• Lead the Architecture, Structural Engineering, and Physical Security domains within the global Data Center Engineering System.
• Develop and evolve standards, reference designs, and approved variants to improve quality and speed across global regions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design Engineering, Sustainability, Construction, and Operations.
• Coordinate with regional counterparts in NA, EMEA, and APAC to ensure product viability and global consistency.
• Drive product-level solutions supporting constructability, resilience, and industrialized delivery methods.
• Mentor team members to build technical capability and consistency across the function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 10+ years of architectural design experience, preferably in mission-critical or industrial building types.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting, and cross-discipline coordination (Structural, Civil, MEP, Fire/Life Safety).
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally (10-15%).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in an architectural discipline.
• Professional Architect license.
• Experience with hyperscale data center design, delivery, or commissioning.
• Familiarity with industrialized delivery concepts and continuous improvement loops.
