TL;DR

Career Consultant: Developing and leading comprehensive career pathways programs in partnership with regional school districts with an accent on student career readiness and work-based learning. Focus on coordinating regional services, supporting educators with student management systems, and integrating an equity lens to ensure inclusive student engagement.

Location: Must be based in or near Region 5, Minnesota, and able to commute to the office and throughout the region 2-3 days a week.

Salary: $70,393.85 – $87,992.31 (pro-rated for 205 days).

What you will do

• Research, develop, and lead career pathway development programming in collaboration with district leadership.
• Provide professional learning support for educators to integrate student management systems.
• Build and maintain connections with local business, industry partners, and higher education institutions.
• Analyze data related to career readiness indicators to inform district decision-making.
• Facilitate action planning sessions with building leadership teams and administration.
• Coordinate work-based learning opportunities and student internships across the region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Six years of experience in K-12 education, including coaching or committee leadership.
• Current K-12 Education License (Teacher, School Counselor, or Administrator).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be located in or near Region 5, Minnesota, with the ability to commute for meetings 2-3 days per week.
