What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, sensors, motors, and VFDs.
• Perform maintenance on power generators, cablers, braiders, extruders, and air compressors.
• Fabricate parts and machine additions using hand and power tools.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of equipment downtime.
• Train junior maintenance technicians and verify the quality of maintenance work.

Requirements

• Vocational school or Associate’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in working with 480V and lower voltage electrical systems.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like standing, bending, and stooping.

Nice to have

• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Experience with lathe and milling machining.
• Advanced knowledge of PLCs and VFDs.
