What you will do

• Build and secure reliable ingestion pipelines to move client data from source systems.
• Develop data pipelines to agreed SLAs with a focus on production reliability.
• Design data models including Data Vault 2.0 and Kimball dimensional models.
• Translate business logic into accurate, trusted pipeline outputs in collaboration with domain SMEs.
• Implement LLM-based processing and AI-enabled solutions alongside deterministic logic.
• Support testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation across the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering with production exposure to Databricks or Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, including PySpark or Snowpark.
• Experience with at least one major cloud vendor (Azure, AWS, or GCP) including networking, IAM, and storage.
• Working knowledge of dimensional modeling (Kimball) or Data Vault 2.0.
• Strong attention to quality, documentation, and delivery discipline.
• Must be based in London to support the hybrid working model.

Nice to have

• Snowflake or Databricks certifications.
• Familiarity with private markets data or London Market insurance.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, DevOps, or data governance tooling.
• Exposure to regulated financial services or audited sectors.
