What you will do

• Design and develop business-critical, complex data pipelines using a variety of processing tools and automation.
• Expand capabilities in Deep Learning and LLM-powered extraction of clinical insights from global datasets.
• Devise creative technical solutions to help the team scale and contribute to team roadmaps.
• Help build and shape the European engineering teams and company culture.
• Iterate rapidly on products while maintaining engineering practices that ensure quality and security.
• Develop deep expertise in UK healthcare data sources, security, privacy, and information governance.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of relevant professional experience as a data engineer.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, SQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and data warehouse solutions like Snowflake.
• Experience with data processing and orchestration tools such as Databricks, Spark, Ray, DBT, Prefect, or Airflow.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists, clinicians, and product leaders.

Nice to have

• Experience working in UK healthcare or exposure to standards like HL7.
• Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or security engineering.
