What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade AI applications, copilots, and agentic workflows.
• Define implementation strategies that align AI capabilities with specific business objectives.
• Guide engineering teams in building scalable retrieval systems, orchestration layers, and tool-integrated experiences.
• Drive best practices in prompt engineering, RAG, context management, and AI testing.
• Partner with clients to identify AI-powered opportunities and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Architects, and Product teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or machine learning.
• 2+ years of experience leading technical teams or managing engineering professionals.
• Strong hands-on experience building AI-powered applications and LLM-enabled solutions in production.
• Advanced Python development skills and experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Must be based in Ontario or Québec, Canada.
• Fluency in English is required for collaboration with international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI solutions within consulting or digital agency environments.
• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI practices, and security considerations.
• Knowledge of evaluation frameworks for AI applications and agentic systems.
• Experience supporting distributed, international engineering teams.
