What you will do

• Develop and maintain on-vehicle UDS diagnostic stacks running as Linux userspace applications.
• Implement embedded C++ software for real-time capable HLOS environments on ARM platforms.
• Drive a test-first mindset by designing unit, integration, and bench-level tests.
• Own specific modules or subsystems from design through implementation and long-term maintenance.
• Debug complex system-level issues involving IPC frameworks, network stacks, and hardware peripherals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate system requirements into well-architected designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Proficiency in modern embedded C++ (14+) and MISRA-C++ standards.
• Experience with Linux userspace application development on ARM-based platforms.
• Strong grasp of software design principles and automated testing (Python scripting).

Nice to have

• Experience with automotive diagnostic protocols like UDS (ISO 14229) and DoIP (ISO 13400).
• Familiarity with functional safety frameworks such as ISO 26262.
• Expertise in Bazel, Docker, and gtest.
• Exposure to ARM TrustZone or TEE-based security models.
