Salary: $131,010 – $196,300 per annum

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize SSD firmware and common service features.
• Perform failure analysis and identify issues using specialized lab tools and equipment.
• Pilot key feature implementation, integration, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with architecture, validation, and customer support teams across sites.
• Refactor legacy C code to improve system stability and maintainability.
• Support SoC production through effective hardware driver development and board bring-up.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. law.
• 7+ years of experience in embedded firmware development, digital design, or control systems.
• 3+ years of experience specifically in SSD firmware development.
• Extensive programming experience in C and C++ for embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with ARM-based board bring-up and hardware driver development.
• Strong understanding of algorithm and data structure design.

Nice to have

• Experience with SSD FTL design and NAND flash backend.
• Knowledge of PCIe/NVMe protocols.
• Experience with embedded OS kernels like uCOS or embOS.
• Familiarity with Windows-based simulation systems and Linux development environments.
